In stores you can find any bomb: classic round, in the shape of a heart or an animal, with foam, glitter, with a perfume scent and in different colors. Undoubtedly, such unusual balls look impressive, but only bombs with a natural composition are useful.
Making bath bombs is not as difficult as you might imagine. Ingredients such as salt and oils are sold in cosmetic stores, and herbs can be harvested by yourself or ordered online. Cleopatra’s Bath Bomb with Milk Powder
Renews the skin, making it soft and velvety.
Ingredients:
- baking soda 300 gr
- citric acid 150 gr
- powdered milk 50 gr
- coconut oil 70 ml
- jasmine essential oil 5-10 drops
- magnolia, jasmine or lavender flowers for decoration
Step by step guide:
Sift the baking soda into a bowl through a sieve.
Mix baking soda and citric acid.
Add coconut oil, spread evenly and saturate the entire mixture with it. The consistency should be wet sand. If the mixture is too loose, add water from a spray bottle.
Mix everything thoroughly, add essential oil.
Fill both halves of the mold with the mixture, place the flower for decoration. Connect the hemispheres, squeeze firmly, but do not twist.
After a couple of minutes, remove the ball from the mold and leave to dry warm. The bomb will be ready in a few hours. Store in a dry and warm place, wrapped in plastic wrap.
Lavender Epsom Salt Bomb

Ingredients:
- baking soda 1 glass
- corn starch 0.5 cups
- citric acid 0.5 cups
- Epsom salt 0.5 cups
- 3 teaspoons coconut oil
- 3 teaspoon pure water
- lavender essential oil 5-10 drops
- dried lavender seeds
Step by step guide:
Sift the baking soda into a bowl through a sieve, add the rest of the dry ingredients: citric acid, Epsom salt, starch.
In another bowl, combine all the liquid ingredients: coconut oil, water.
Mix liquid and dry substances in a common bowl, mix thoroughly until the consistency of wet sand.
Add essential oil and dried lavender.
Fill the two halves of the form with the contents, connect, squeeze firmly, but do not scroll.
After a couple of minutes, remove the ball from the mold and leave to dry warm for 8 hours. Store the finished bomb in a dry and warm place, wrapped in cling film.
